 Scripps Oceanographic Society members and E.W. Scripps Associates are invited to enjoy 10% discount on breakfast this summer at Barbarella in La Jolla Shores. Barbarella is renowned for European-style bistro foods with menus that change daily. The restaurant is extending hours by featuring gourmet breakfasts beginning at 8 a.m. Now through August 31, SOS and EWSA members who present membership cards will receive 10% off breakfast. Barbara Beltaire is the restaurant owner and originator of Birch Aquarium's "Galaxy of Sea Stars" support program. Holiday Lights Members' Celebration

Ring in the SEASon with Birch Aquarium and enjoy a tree lighting and delicious desserts and beverages during the aquarium’s annual holiday family event. Be treated to live musical entertainment. Children can take part in a holiday craft. Don't miss out on a special visit from Santa and his elves! Enjoy the aquarium-museum after hours with members and friends this season.
